Has anyone experienced cooling fan troubles on 1995 SL1 or simular models? The fan is suppose to "kick on" when the gauge gets to the 3/4 mark, but it doesn't. And it is suppose to come on with the A/C, it doesn't. The fan works ( I jumped power to it to make sure ) and the fuse OHM'd out good. And get this...today is started working when I turned the A/C on, but now itsNOT working again!!!

If anyone can help, please reply!! THANKS!!!!

You've probably got a bad relay. You can swap your relays around to see if that's the problem. They're located in the fuse box

it could be that the sending unit for the auto-on could be going south.

from my experience, saturns are known for having fans go bad, they take 10 min. to replace

In my experience, The fans don't even kick on at the 3/4 mark, mine
always kicked in when the needle just starts touching the red and
within a minute or few the needle is down to 1/4.

I know Saturn does this to keep the fuel economy better. There
are kits you can get to make the fan turn on at the half mark or where
ever you want, and also you can get a kit to manually turn it on.

If you have access to a engine data screen, see if the coolant temp sensor if reading correctly. I bet the cts is cracked if the engine has every overheated.
