im new here and i just bought a 99 sl1. the fuel pump needs to be replaced and i have never done this before. could someone with experience let me know if this is worth doing myself or should i get this done. I have chiltons online, since i work at a library i have free access to any car repair guide. i looked it up and it doesnt seem too difficult butreading it and actually doing it are two different things. ok well any help is greatly appreciated. thanks again!

well, unless you're down south or doing it in a heated garage it's not gonna suck ass. besides that, if u have any mechanical knowlegde at all (and tools)it shouldn't be that bad. Inform us of any probs.
