98 SL1 rear turning signal

I had to take off my rear taillight today, and after i put them back on and drove for a while, my rear right turning signal stopped working. Also, the front right signal works twice as fast. Any ideas where I should look?
Thanks alot.

The bulb is good?? ... recheck to make sure voltage is present at the socket (use a voltmeter). Also check the wiring for the socket to make sure it sees a good ground ...

where would the blink control unit be located? Is st behind the radio? The socket seems to have power, but its steady, doesnt flash.

I don't mean to be downplaying your problem, but you do realize that Saturns have a three-bulb light system ... Please check again, as it sounds like you are looking at the running light for the tail light system rather than the turn signal light.

Arrgghhhh .... I didn't explain that right. There are three bulbs in the taillight housing: one that does double duty as a running light (at night), and the stop light function, a separate bulb for the turn signal function, and the third one for the back-up light. Make sure you check the correct bulb ...

It not what you call the blink control unit, correct name is "turn signal flasher".
