97 SL1 Horn beeping intermittently and draining battery

Hello, I have a 1997 Saturn, SL1. The battery keeps draining and the horn keeps going off almost like you’re locking the car. It’ll do it intermittently every couple seconds.

I pulled the 10 amp chime fuse from the interior fuse panel, and this seemed to stop the horn from going off.

After I plugged the fuse back, the horn will sound once I’m not sure if this is related to the issue I’m having or if it’s supposed to do that.

this issue only happens when the car is off

I am not familiar with electronic diagnostics at all, so some guidance would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance,
- Banksy

Do you have a dvom?

Yes I have a cheap one

First thing is to be sure we have a good battery fully charged. Is the battery fully charged? It should read 12.6V with nothing hooked up to it. What do you get?
We have to start here because some tests will fail when they shouldn't and we end up replacing things that are perfectly fine.

Reading said 12.61 Volts

When the system is asleep how much draw are you getting?

I used a multimeter set to measure amps to check for parasitic draw, and it showed a reading of 0.02 amps
