96 sl2 missing

Heres the problem- Sometimes this car will miss while driving, if I shift into neutral and rev the engine up it will usually make it go away. when it starts missing the ses light comes on. It seems to be getting more often now. When I come up to a stop light it wants to stall out. Any ideas?? I have changed the plugs and wires, map sensor, so far.

could it be the egr valve?? or fuel filter??

this is an auto trans and has 148,000 miles on it.

What CODES did you get when you had those read before you started changing parts?

I too have to ask what codes you are getting. The Saturn S car comes under the heading of extremely complex as to how it goes about running and the knowledge of what codes are being flagged is extremely important as to potential problem areas.

ef13, if you'll cruise the vehicle down to your local auto parts store chances are good they will have a code reader there that they will read your codes for free with...write down each and every and list them here...these guys are wizards at interpreting the numbers...
