i picked up a96 saturn sl sohc not running,i pull the plugs they were fuel soaked . took compression test 1 cylhad about 130 psi, cyl2,3,4 had about 80 psi. cyl head or gasket engine has 140k checked oil was clean noanti-freeze.should the engine start have spark and fuel or just pull the head

Does it turn over? If it does, have you checked for spark? I'm sure you've probably done all this. All the cylinders should be approx. the same PSI. For you to be losing pressure in 3 of 4 cyl. unfortunaley I think it would be a warped head from overheating but if there is no coolant in the oil, I don't know. But hopefully it is just a head gasket. Start simple though. What exactly is happening when you try to start it?
