2002 SL1 CD player

Anyone know if the standard CD player in a Saturn SL1 will play MP3 files? I'm guessing it won't but thought I'd ask before I go making a CD with MP3 files on it.

I'll have to look around and see if I have one with some mp3 files on it. I don't want to waste a CD just to see it won't work. Hey! That's why I bought a Saturn, to save money. Why turn around and waste it on a CD that won't work? heh heh
