2002 Saturn SL2 Oil Pan Re-sealing Help?

Does anyone know if I need any special tools to get the oil pan down and re-sealed? It's a 2002 Saturn SL2 1.9L DOHC engine, auto transmission. I just was wondering if anyone knew if there could be any complications I should know of, or how long the project usually takes. Thanks!

On a 2002? No I don't know. But if memory serves me right there is nothing in the way of getting it down.
I probably can look it up as I have a software package that gives quite a bit of information on a variety of cars and is handy to use when I need it.
But other than printing out a hard copy I can not copy and paste information to the forum and at times is both lengthy and difficult to type it out.
What I would suggest is go by your auto parts store, O'rielly or AutoZone, PEP boys, NAPA or CarQuest and buy a service manual from them, Chilton, Motors, Hayde or what ever. They are all pretty good and will cost about $30.00 and look it up. If there is special material or parts required you can order them while you are there.
I personally am not a big FAN of RTV unless there is a specific application and instructions for the use of it. But that is treason to purchase the book. To find out what the specific instructions are if any.

You will have to disassemble the exhaust system and also remove the engine-to-transaxle reinforcement plate to get the job done, but no "special tools" are required
