Hey Guys,
I have an electrical Problem with my GF's car.
Car won't turn over, but when you turn the key all the lights on the dash and radio flash and you can hear the relays in the dash clicking?
I checked the battery voltage, 12v not running and after boosting and got it running 14.5v. There is also a remote car starter installed on this car. Now I think I have a short somewhere or a bad relay. I also think I need to replace the battery but would like to find the fault before doing so. If anyone has any suggestions I would be most appreciative.
Thanks
PCR

Classic symptoms of battery at end of its life span. V when running indicates charging system (alt) is fine. Not sure why you suspect a short.....you did not mention any burned fuses, etc (???)

If the starter solenoid was an issue, you would not be able to jump the car to life....

Replace battery.
