Done deal. Fan motor was dead as a doorknob... I got a new one from Advance auto and stabbed it in there. Cranked it up not only did the fan kick on, but the compressor kicked on and played nice... It blows cold, but I still want to jab the gauges at it and get a measurement of the pressures. The car is almost 12 years old and I have never had to do anything to to the AC... I was wrong about the brand of fan motor I put in it last year. It was a VDO... Kind of shocking since VDO used to at least, make top shelf stuff... I guess they went the way that Craftsman power tools did too...

Insufficient air across the condenser coil == very high pressures, and the pressure switch will kick out. Start up again, air flows, pressures drop, and the compressor starts

Have you checked your condenser and radiator for debris? If they're starting to get a lot of crap built up in them, take your garden hose and a soft bristle brush and clean them out.
