Does anyone know how many more miles-ish I can travel when the fuel light comes on in my auto01 sl1? Thanks!

I have an ''02 SL1, and I have noticed that when I fill up (usually after the light goes on) I put about 10.5 gallons in (maybe 11 once) so with a 12 gallon tank, and 40 highway (30city) thats from 45 - 60 miles, but, I have not risked it yet, yellow lights make me uncomortable....

It all depends on the individual car, driver, driving habits and driving conditions. But you roughly have two gallons left when the light comes on.

For what it''s worth, I drove 20 miles (maybe more) after the fuel light came on.... I own a ''02 SL1.

So if you have 1.5 or 2 gallons of gas left and you get 25mpg then you can drive 37.5 - 50 miles before you run out of gas, for what it''s worth.

"For What It''s Worth" is a song written by Stephen Stills. It was performed by Buffalo Springfield and released as a single in January 1967; it was later added to the re-release of their first album, Buffalo Springfield.

Stills reportedly wrote the song in reaction to escalating unrest between law enforcement and young club-goers related to the closing of Pandora''s Box, a club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California.
_____________
There''s something happening here
What it is ain''t exactly clear
There''s a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it''s time we stop, children, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down

There''s battle lines being drawn
Nobody''s right if everybody''s wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it''s time we stop, hey, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down

What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It''s time we stop, hey, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you''re always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down
Stop, hey, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down
Stop, now, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down
Stop, children, what''s that sound
Everybody look what''s going down
