I have a 2000 SL2 5spd that just started experincing starting problems. battery is 6 months old, replaced positive cables at time of battery, no currosion on the possitive cable. I crimped a new end up on ingition wire of the starter and it seemed fine for a day. but today it is giving me problems again? any ideas? maybe a sllinoid problem? ideas?

Go over all your connections at both ends, and check for loose wire. Defective solenoid is possible, but wiring is a whole bunch cheaper than a solenoid/starter, especially if its not bad anyway.

MAKE SURE THAT THE CAR IS UNLOCKED WITH THE REMOTE LOCK! I HAD THAT PROBLEM.. THOUGHT IT WAS THE STARTER AND IT WAS A 125 DOLLAR MISTAKE. if you have the securety system in your saturn then try that.. it should be fine
