I was just wondering if anyone has has a problem with a high idle. I have a 2000 sl2 and when I go on a road trip sometimes my car wont udle under 1500 and there are no dtc so far I've cleaned out the throtle body and replaced the tps sensor and throttle cable. I hooked up a scanner to it and did a companant test and there are 2 coponants that are failing the test one of them is monitor id # 06 and monitor id # 30 I've been tryinh to figure out what they are with no success can anyone help??????

Try spraying some throttle body cleaner around the intake manifold gasket
to see if it affects the idle. The sl1 engines have a history with this.
