Cool 2000 SL1,5-speed-sloppy shifter.

Picked up the car a week ago today-car runs awesome but the shifter is pretty sloppy and the clutch releases pretty high(my foot is almost off the pedal all the way). ive read the plastic bushings in the shifter wear out fast-Anyone know how hard they r to change. would like something metal to replace them-as for the clutch release i think the cables r just stretched out-r they adjustable to tighten them up or do i need new ones and how much-im pretty sure there not very easy to change. Your knowledge is welcome anytime. thanks again all
