2000 Saturn SL2 hose diameter
Good evening. I’m looking to repair the small hose on the vent solenoid where it connects to the hardline. My hose connection dry rotted and fell off so I don’t have the piece to get a measurement.
thanks for your time |
A picture of the area of the hose will help greatly.

CAUTION: Make sure the vehicle is centered and properly positioned prior to lifting. https://charm.li/images/DM15Q313/gm120/930457508/ 1. Raise vehicle. 2. Remove left rear inner fender well. 3. Disconnect vent solenoid quick connect pipe. 4. Disconnect [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid harness connector. 5. Slide spring clamp nearest vent solenoid down on molded hose. https://charm.li/images/DM15Q313/gm120/930460782/ 6. Disengage (4) locking tabs from shield of [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid box. 7. Remove shield on [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid box and slide down molded hose. 8. Remove vent solenoid from box and vent pipe from vehicle. 9. Disconnect vent solenoid from molded rubber hose. INSTALLATION 1. Install [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid to box on filler pipe. NOTE: Insure that vent solenoid "clicks" into engagement with locking tab on box. 2. Install shield on [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid box. IMPORTANT: The lid or shield for the [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid must always be installed. The lid and the solenoid box shield the vent solenoid from water and contaminants. This allows the vent solenoid to function properly. NOTE: Insure that vent pipe is properly positioned in retainer on fuel filler pipe lower attachment. https://charm.li/images/DM15Q313/gm120/930457508/ 3. Install vent pipe and molded hose to quick connect on EVAP canister vent hose. 4. Install vent pipe hose to [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid and secure with clamp. 5. Connect [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid harness connector. 6. Install left rear inner fender well. 7. Perform "Service Bay Test" for the evaporative emission system using Scan tool. This test will verify the integrity of the vapor handling areas of the fuel system. pro multis · About Operation CHARM |
