I'm thinking of switching to led lights in my car and had 2 questions.

1) I know the brake light/reverse number is 2057 and have only seen 1157s in led so can they be used? I assume yes but want to check first

2) does anyone know if the front sidemarker/plate lights bulb number 24 is available in leds? I've tried searching but only come up with string lights and common bulb styles that have 24 lights in/on it but nothing for bulb number 24

The 2057 and 1157 use the same socket, and the filament locations inside are the same. The main difference is the 2057 uses a stronger, heavier duty filament.

 

I sit corrected. Apparently Pain knows. Actually you could look that kinda stuff up on your own.....

 

I have done a search and didn't come up with any definite answers so that's why I asked. I knew the connectors looked the very similar but wanted to find out if someone knew they were the same. I'd rather find out whatever I can before doing something then go spend the money and find out it won't work and unable to return item.
