Default 1998 Saturn SC2 Cam Cover Question

I am having issues getting my composite cam cover to seal properly after several tries using different methods found on this forum and others.

Is it possible to use the older metal cam cover from an older model to replace the composite on the 98?

I am looking for a best option to keep the oil in my engine.

1998 Saturn SC2 140K

Rebuild head, new timing chain and guides.

Thanks again for any info,

Mr. Long

From what I remember, the answer to your question is NO. If your buying product from anyplace other then the dealer your not using the best option of keeping oil in your engine.
