1994 Saturn S Blowing White Smoke

1994 Saturn S single cam.

The car blows white smoke at high rpms and it consumes a lot of oil. There is no water in the oil or oil in the water. I did a compression test and it is not good.
1=119
2=100
3=100
4=105

I may have done the compression test wrong but not sure. I have not done one in 10 years. I took all the spark plug wires off and set them aside. I then took one spark plug out at a time, tested the compression and then put it back in and moved onto the next one.
Should I take them all out and then test or does it matter? Do I need to put a cap full of oil in the cylinder before testing?

The funny thing is that the car runs and drives great. It just consumes a lot of oil and the white smoke issue at high rpms. When idling or just driving in town there is little to no smoke.

If the head gasket was blown wouldn't I see water in oil or vice versa?

Any advice or additional tests that I can run? Do you need any more information?

I know Saturns consume a lot of oil but we are talking about a quart a week.

Wet and dry test checks different things. You can look that up on the internet.

1 qt a week means nothing. How many miles per qt would mean more.

Could try a MM soak, you can also find that on the internet.

What is the condition of the inside of your tailpipe --> dry or moist? Fairly clean, or black with soot or oil?

I not sure on a 94 but on a 99 sc2 the min. Compression is 180 psi.
If you squirt a little in the cylinder and run the compression test again and the numbers come up then the rings are most likely bad if they don't more then like the valves or the head gasket are bad.
