I just bought an '01 SL2 with 99,XXX miles. It's a very clean and well running car. The only problem is, the PCV valve chatters like crazy part of the time. I'm going to replace the valve. I doubt that the valve is bad. I think it's a symtom of something else. Anyone have this problem before?

 

check all your PCV valve hose and other lines for cracks/leaks

 

Well, I guess it was just the valve. I replaced it, and no more chatter!
