Tire Pressure Sensors

I have a 2009 Outlook XR. 2 of my tire pressure sensors went bad. Did not feel like spending the money to get them replaced. The warning light and on board message pop up every time I turn the car on.
Is there a way to disable this?
Thank You

Moved to Outlook where it belongs

Of course

Remove the bulb from that warning light and pull the connector off of the on board message display.

Your three choices are
1) fix it
2) Ignore it
3) Learn how to hack GM's bastardized slow version of CANbus and reprogram the ECU to never check the tire pressure monitors

Thanks, I was afraid of that.

Hello,
my father has problems with his tire sensors, the sensor bodies are aluminum. One day he stopped at the gas station to get air in his one tire. When he went to push the air hose on the stem it just fell apart in pieces now he had a flat tire. Went and had all the sensors taken off they wanted $400.00 to take it out of the DIC system. When he took the sensors off the tires , every now and then a light will show up on the dash and go right out. The longest he has seen it in was about 15 minutes and there is no “dinging”
