I have a 2004 L300 wagon. I drive along at highway speed and it stalls. I haven't noticed this happening in town yet. I pull over and it starts righta way and I am off again..One other note is that every 30 seconds or so I noticed the lights dim briefly so leads me to believe it is an electrical problem possibly, any help in this area would be great as I am 1600 kms from home...

Look at your battery connections to be sure they're snug and free of corrosion. If you can, try someplace that will test your battery/alternator free to be sure the charging system is ok.

Charging system looks good, but I will check again to make sure....any other suggestions.....

Looking good isn't the same as verifying the voltage at the battery terminals and the suggestion to go to a store that will provide a free battery/alternator test. The other method is to do this yourself with a multimeter to measure the voltages at various stages. Battery voltage should be at least 12.5v, with the engine idling 13.5v, above idling 14.5v (give or take a few tenths of a volt for each measurement). Any lower reading from one of the three indicates a poorly charged/old battery, alternator fault, even belt slippage from a worn serpentine belt tensioner. You should not be able to depress the belt between the pulleys otherwise the tensioner may be weak allowing poor charging of the battery. If your part of the country likes road salting then corrosion of electrical teminals may be another cause of flickering lights. You would have to visually check the alternator connections, tug on them to be sure they're snug, terminals are either push-on spade lugs, ring terminals held onto posts by nuts, or multiple pin plastic connectors with many terminals mating male/female style.
