i have a service light with a wrench beside it, what could it be.

 

Does it shift hard when the light is on? If so it should reset with each key cycle.

 

does not shift hard. seems to run and shift fine.

 

Hi. I suppose it could be two things: either you just need a routine maintenance, like oil etc and the service light is just a reminder or it's a MIL light (Malfunction Indicator Light) and you need to scan the car with the ODB2 scanner to see what might be the problem (get the code).
