I would replace the ign3 relay in the left underdash fuse panel. See if you get power to the ign3 fuse. Power to this fuse should restore your throttle to normal. Ign 3 fuse is tied into your hvac control head. Backfeeding the circuit may have welded the relay contacts. The a/c clutch diode may still be bad, please check the diode. The arrow on the diode needs to point to the front of the car.

Please clear the codes and take it for a drive if it runs well enough. Lets see what comes back. That P0233 is not a valid code for an L81 engine. Hope you are ok with this. I leave for Eastern Oregon with 500,000 of my closest friends to see the eclipse Thursday morning. Probably only have spotty internet and phone service with this crowd. My sister and her husband are driving up from San Diego for this also.

Where are you? I have a 3.0 liter car that broke its timing belt and bent most of the valves. The car ran fine for the previous owner. I can send you a throttle pedal sensor to try. Does everything else seem to work now other than the sunroof?

Please check for 5 volts on the tan wire and the white/black striped wire at the pedal. The 5 volt feed comes from the engine control computer. If no 5 volts at either wire provide the engine control module #s. I may have a match. If you have 5 volts at one but not the other peal the tape and expose the wires. I will post the colors and what they do.
