Well my subject is self-explanatory really... I just needed to know where that is exactly so i can replace... I see the one''s before and after that cat as well as the one sitting smack on the front heat shield... now im assuming that the one im looking for is on the back 3 cylinders behind number 2 but i just want to make sure that''s it... ALSO, if you have any pointers for a first timer working on newer cars to do this please don''t be shy... I built my 72 mustang''s engine but that was easy "part A into Hole 1" type stuff, but these newers cars do cause me quite a fright... thanks by the way...

I''d have to look it up to verify, but I think its the one on the back of the engine on the manifold. Usually the ones that fail are the hardest to get to right?

I''ll look it up in the service manual when I get home.

Bank 1 is sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 are on the manifolds, bank 2 is dowstream in the exhaust system.

Ok, looked it up.

Bank 1 are cylinders 1, 3, and 5 which are the closest to the front of the dash. Bank 2 are cylinders 2, 4, and 6 which are closest to the front of the car.

So I was wrong in the position of bank 2 in my original response.
