Car is suddenly dead - help!

We recently picked up a 2003 L300 for my son to use. The battery was very weak so I replaced it with a new one. The car was driven a few times over that past few days. This morning my wife drove it to do some errands and returned home and parked it in the driveway.
When I returned home later in the day, I tried to move the car and it wouldn't start. Turn the key and absolutely nothing. Everything is dead.
I hooked up a battery charger/starter to the battery and still everything is dead.
Any ideas what this could be?

Replace the main battery cables (both positive and negative). Darn things get battery acid under the insulation, and get eaten up .....

Thanks, I'll try that. Can I get them at any parts store like Auto Zone?

Should be able to buy them there -- just look carefully, and purchase quality parts

My L300 died with just 2 payments left to go. "Beyond economic repair" both cats, AC. OK, so craking 2 oil pans off and denting the transmission pan might have contributed to the early death. It lasted only 118k. Give up on the Bruno Magli mobile, get the yougin' a moped. If he complains, increase the rent.

An L300 is Not an ATV .....

Sorry to hear you are walking again, but folks need to realize a couple of things:

1) Ground clearance on both the S-series and L-Series is minimal.
2) No engine or transmission runs well without proper internal fluids.
3) If you must traverse large ruts/potholes regularly, get a truck!
