A big pickup truck sideswiped me. The mirror was knocked off, held on by wires. The mirror assembly seems intact but the mount is broken. Is there any way to replace the mount, other than going to a junk yard?

I am new here. Since I specified the vehicle in my profile, I am not sure if I need to identify the vehicle here. This is for a 2004 Saturn L300 wagon.

 

Unfortunately these are not folding mirrors, they just break off the car. Sometimes longer screws will allow reattachment, it all depends how much plastic is broken.

 

I used to have an L300. Same thing happened to me, except I swiped a parked car.

Can you share a photograph? I seem to recall the new mirror coming with a mount. I can't remember whether I got it at a salvage yard or new.
