Transmission fluid dipstick?

I went to check the fluid in my new L200 (so it's the 2.2 Ecotec of course) and curiously could not find a dipstick anywhere under the hood or in the manual. Can anyone help?

Not sure, but I don't think it has one. My 07 Equinox doesn't have one and my 08 Dodge Caliber didn't either. On the Caliber, I could use the oil dipstick, as long as I gave it a good cleaning so as not to contaminate the CVT transmission fluid with motor oil. I don't know if the Saturn is set up the same way or not, but I doubt it.

I believe the dipstick is located in the lower part of the transmission It should be a yellow circle that you can pull out.

Incorrect, no dipstick on the 4t40 or 4t45 transmissions.

My '03 L200 doesn't have an AT dipstick.

There's a plug you pull and the fluid should just seep out the hole when full.
Wat year is yours?

Dang near a 12 year old thread. Why revive it?

Missed date, than new members, new purchasers, etc. etc.

Someone else revived it before that. At least the correct information is in it now. I say give him a pass. He meant well
