Sensor location right roof rail airbag

Recently a small accident activated the roof rail airbag on the passenger side of my 2003 Saturn L200. The airbag was replaced but the light remain on. After my mechanic tested via his computer to determine the problem and he said that there was an open circuit on the right rail roof airbag sensor. Can anyone tell me specifically where this sensor is located.

Andy may be able to help you.
No double posting please. Thanks.

I can tell you that if you paid someone to perform the repair and the airbag light never turned off, that the repair was as you now know incomplete.

If this is the case, take it back and have them finish the repair at their cost.

An airbag system, when fully functional, will blink the airbag light 7 times at key on and turn off. The entire system is armed. If the airbag light stays on, there is still something wrong and the entire airbag system is usually disabled.

The right side impact sensor is low in the b pillar. It looks like it is behind the seat belt retractor.
