Rust Issues
I have a question for everyone I just picked up a 2002 Saturn l100 with 95,000 original miles 1 owner. I was going to do an oil change and noticed the front cradle where the body mount comes down on by the horn is completely gone and this is on the passenger side and a spot on the driver side back behind the door on the back of the cradle are these repairable or are they scrap?

That is totaled out. You have a lot of damage.

Rust
Thank you for the quick reply. I kind of figured it was done for I did some pricing on maybe replacing the subframe but to find it a decent one It would have to come for out west and I'm looking around 800 bucks plus the other parts and my time I'm pushing probably 1,800 to 2 grand.

Both cradles bolt to the unibody, the big question is will the bolts come out of the unibody and is it sound. I have lots of those cradles off and sitting but I live on the Left coast. I would buy your car for running gear but you must be on the Right coast or the Mid West.

You would need to replace the front clip. Not sure about further back but I assume there's damage there as well.

I definitely wouldn't feel safe driving a car in that condition. That's what I love about living in the south. We don't get a lot of rust on the under carriages of our cars.
