Default L-Series and Saab 9-5 Interchangability??

Ok, i know the L-Series cars and the Saab 9-5 Sedans of the same vintage are built off the same chassis, so i was wondering if any of the upgraded springs or suspension they sell for the 9-5's will work on the L-Series sedans?

In particular im looking at buying a 2000 LS1 and want to do a few minor upgrades, namely a mild drop and since the car has alot of miles on it replace the shocks and struts while im in there. They list some nice Koni FSD dampers or some Bilstein HD or Sport shocks and struts for thr 9-5 but for the L-Series they only list the Koni sports and some GR-2 setups. Im thinking if they are build off the same chassis, then the parts should interchange, but it doesnt always work out like that.

Anybody have any experience with this stuff? It seems the L-Series hasnt gotten much love at all in the aftermarket.

Back in the day KONI made coilovers for the L-CAR .... I would get KONI on the line and see if they can help you out.
