My son has a 2002 Saturn L series sedan that he bought last summer. I have run into this several times on web sites where they will list instead of L series for 2002 they will list it as either a L100,L200, or L300. Both of us has looked all over the car and in the owner's manual and has found no designation for that car other than it's an L series Saturn. So I guess my question is : what is the difference between an L100, L200, and L300 and how do I tell which one we have ? Thanks.&nbsp ;&nbsp ;

Theyre were so many name changes to the L-Series. I really dont think that would help.

The "LS's (LS, LS1 & LS2) only existed for the first model year. They were then called the L100, L200 & L300 for 01 - 03. Then they were call L300.1, L300.2 & L300.3 for 04 on.

My L100 actually has L100 on the trunk lid (the vertical part) it's an 02 with the 2.2 L Engine
