how to tell if a recall has been done

I read that Saturn did recalls on timing chain oiling issues in L series. How can I tell if my car has been done? Better yet what should I do to make sure I don't break a chain?

go to

Keeping You Safe | Safercar | National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)

to see all recalls for each year and model vehicle

I believe if you search by VIN, it will tell you which recalls are outstanding on your vehicle

Thanks, no open recalls! Helpful site.

Indeed. I may sticky it.

Didnt they put those stickers under the hood that said campaign xxxx completed with a dealer code? Normally you can find them under the hood of your car. I know mine had one

indeed they did in the 90's but all that's left is part of the Saturn logo on mine.

Plus how do you know if you're missing a sticker?
