Camshaft driven power steering pump, wrong camshaft?

I am new to this forum but got a few questions.
I have 2000 Saturn ls1 2.2l that blew the timing chain. It bent all but 2 valves. Long story short it was cheaper for me to order a new cylinder head with all the valve train components included than have the old one reworked. I have the entire motor/timing set/head all put back together. The head I order stated the intake camshaft has a hex drive for the power steering so never checked it. Went to put the power steering pump on and go figure.... it is not a hex drive.

I am waiting on the company to get back to me that sold me the head. I do not want to pull everything back apart. Basically what are my options? Can I put the old intake camshaft back in the motor? Am I able to swap the camshaft for one that has a hex drive on the end of it? I am at a loss right now and need some advice/help. Thanks

I would ask the rebuilder to send the correct cam. Then install it in your rebuilt head, should be still covered by warranty then. Make sure they sent you the correct cylinder head, does it have the bolt holes for the power steering pump? I am not sure about the cam cap having the correct setup to work with the pump. If you are lucky they sent you the correct head with just the wrong camshaft.
