Default 2000 LW2 Stereo Harness

New to the forum, my daughter inherited a 2000 LW20 and I'm trying to put in an aftermarket radio.
I cannot find a wiring diagram online that matches what the car has. All the ones I'm finding have the power as orange and yellow and this one is yellow and red. I'm getting power but theres no sound coming out of the speakers. I've bought a couple of adapter harnesses but neither of them exactly match up wire for wire in each position.
If I can just figure out what each wire does on the old harness (pictured) that will make it a whole lot easier.
Thanks for the help.

Never mind, I see the color code outlines the other side of the harness where the wires come in.
Now to find out why I'm not getting any sound.

The car probably has the premium sound system. The factory uses an overlay amp system. There will be another harness behind the radio with the same matching plugs. Disconnect that connection and plug in there and the speakers will work.

Gotcha, I'll take a look at that tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip.

Well unfortunately theres no second connection and it has the premium audio, theres two speakers in each door.
I think I'm going to have to throw in the towel on this one and take it to a professional.

The premium sound looks like this, you may just have bad speakers.

That's what it looks like on our 2000 LW2. It doesnt say premium sound on the small speaker but each door has a tweeter and a woofer.
I plugged back in the stock unit and it works and sounds great so speakers aren't the issue. It just has radio and CD player, I want my daughter to be able to have hands free bluetooth like the aftermarket unit we bought has.
The factory harness has 15 wires and the adapter I got only has 12 so one of those wires that's not covered is the culprit.
I still cant find a wiring diagram online that is exactly like the factory harness so it's a bit of a guessing game.

Most speaker wires will have a + or - on them. Have you looked for those? It's just an idea, not a 100% sure thing. Then it's just a process of elimination. I used to have the patience for that kind of thing, but the older I've gotten, the more aggravating I found it, so I just go with whatever is in the car.

All L series have a tweeter and a main speaker with either system only the premium sound system have the extra amp harness. I can look up the wiring for a 2002 when I get home tonite.

Gotcha, I read somewhere that only a premium system has 8 speakers. Its internet info so it's probably not too reliable.
Ours is a 2000, will that be the same as a 2002? Is that why I'm having a hard time finding a wire diagram?
As far as speakers go I've wired it the right way on the diagram and also tried reversing polarity and neither worked.
