Newbie here so easy on the flaming...

Have an 01 L200 that never had any problems.
Tonight I was driving normally, made a left hand turn and BAM car dies.
Electrical still works, when she cranks its healthy electrically but seems
hollow.
Had a similar problem on my jeep, and it was the throttle positioning
sensor. Found another post here that hinted at that and showed how to
test for good fuel pump, but I was wondering if there may be something
else I'm missing? Any ideas?

Also, is there a way on saturns to check fault codes w/o a scanner? I
know on most of my past cars there was a sequence for turning the keys
or an actual diode you could turn. Is there something like this?

Thanks for the help. I work 24 hr shifts so I can't get back to her till
thursday. All ideas appreciated.

does it seem to sputter at all when you crank it over?? try some starting fluid in the throttle body and see whut she does. if nothing then the TPS could be at fault..(one of many things) i dunno much bout readin codes on an 01 but im pretty sure a code reader is required

changed TPS, changed CPS... any other ideas? How do I check spark with
that weird coil pack? Does this sound like a timing chain??

HMM...JUST PULL A PLUG OUT AND HAVE SOMEONE CRANK IT AND SEE IF THERES SPARKY..DID YOU TRY THE STARTING FLUID?
