I have an 04 Saturn Ion base. I havent had it that long and I noticed the stereo was cutting in and out. I checked to connection on the speakers, (while breaking a lock switch). They seemed to be fine. I decided to replace the head unit with a new factory one. This did not remedy the situation and I noticed the back lights on the stereo was sort of flashing. Could this be a ground issues or maybe a loose harness? Any ideas would be helpful.. Thhis is the base 4 stereo system with the blue harness.
