Default Aftermarket radio for 2007 Ion 2

I just replace the stock radio in my 2007 Ion with an aftermarket Bluetooth radio. After matching up all the wires the radio turns on and it works. But I get nothing to the speakers. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Did some more research. Have to install an interface. Will not power the speakers with a harness alone.

It makes sense though since they added OnStar integration with the 05-07 Ion... I’ll keep that in mind as I wanted to upgrade the radio in my wife’s car... I do distinctly remember the dash and wiring kits being specific to either 03-04 or 05-07...

Default 05 saturn ion

I installed a Bluetooth head unit in my car and I ran everything off of the head unit and factory harness. Umm just remembered the dark colors are positive in the back and light colors are positive in the front .. Sounds weird but my old boss told me gm was racist and that's how I always remember it when I do audio work on ions and gm brand cars

Soooo, does that mean you got it working or not? If not, try calling Crutchfield. 1-844-308-0335. They've got a very good tech support system.
