so i had to disconnect the batter in a 2007 ion and when i reconnected it i noticed that the ceter console had a message of "pwr str" on it and there was no power steeriing at all. would anyone know what there is to do to fix this issue? thanks in advance

 

May have blown the fuse .... if I remember right you''ll find two fuses in the box under the hood.
