Default performance

does anybody know what the performance of my little Saturn should be?
I have the standard motor with the CVT trans,it seems proper but I have needed to replace the O2 sensor 3 times now and Advance Auto is questioning if I have a bad cat causing the problem. I still get 30 mpg and to me it seems the same as new but I could do a 0-60 and dream I am in my other car

dude where IS your signature?

Keep it on all posts please.

This is exactly why we have them

Can't answer cause I don't know what your ride is!
And which O2 sensor? Front or rear?

First of all, if you're buying noname electronic parts at Advance, that's likely the problem. If all three are rear O2 sensors, then there is a chance your cat is not functioning as designed but you would get an 0420 Cat Effic below Theshold BASED ON the rear 02 reading. But if you can replace the sensor and not have it trigger an 0420 50 mi later, I'd say it's a ****ty part (rear O2 sensor).

What code are you getting to trigger you to replace the 02 sensor (presumably rear)? Pxxxx, please)

Please do tell.

Never, ever buy electrical parts from Advance or Autozone. Having worked for both years ago, I can testify that their electrical parts aren't worth a damn. You might get a decent one sometimes, but for the most part, just NO. I won't buy any of their stuff. I get mine from a NAPA store when available, or the stealership. Sure, I pay more, but I don't have to keep trying to return crappy parts that cost me time and more money in the long run.

Huh? Last I checked ions have 2. All 5 of mine do. Or do you have an aftermarket down pipe? Still though. It should be way at the end of the down pipe.
