I have a 2003 Ion that I am trying to install an aftermarket keyless entry system. The system came with limited information and from what i can find on line it due to it being a single wire system I need to install a 1500 ohm resistor on the unlock wire. Can anyone give me some guidance, I attached the wiring diagram from the Installgear keyless entry system.

I was going to type up a guess, but in the interests of not destroying your new investment, my advice is to contact the manufacturer or a professional installer on this.

Too easy to destroy stuff guessing
