I just got it 2 years ago and never thought to modify it. However i do want to put some rims on it. I was having exhaust problems and looked for help on here and im deciding to stay haha,

Also i hate that we have to have the license plate in the front. haha

If it is a 2.2, your tune would be limited to trifecta being the 2.2 didn't open up to HPTuner until 07.
If youre a 2.4, then you can get a custom HPTune.

Exhaust, ZZP and OTTP header/downpipe with a mandrel bent cat-back sounds the best. I use the ZZP mid length header/down pipe with a 2.5 cat back, with a zzp res and magnaflow muffler. Sounds amazing. Although I want to switch to a long tube header.

Between Bonestock and myself, we can definitely get you modded to the max

Not true. Derf is one of those S-Car guys. So if an Ion question pops up, he spends days, sometimes weeks looking for the answer while Bonestock and I guess about everything and still wrong. lmao

Ions are such a love/hate relationship.

Indeed, Derf will spend days finding a never thought of solution to a problem someone has with an ION... Sometimes, I think he's preparing for ownership, lol...

I agree on the exhaust opinion... My Redline sounded awesome with its exhaust combo, even without the blower whine..,

Derf will be in an Ion one day.

I already know we have turned him on to them.

I think he would really enjoy one. Even a base model. Nice suspension, exhaust, le5 intake mani, boom. He would be in love.

Wiseno

Your post does not include a pic of your Ion.
Please PM this kind of stuff
Thanks

PS: 2007 Ion3 came standard with the 2.2 . 2.4 was a $995 upgrade. Freez, just run your vin through our site's vin decoder under the tools menu to give yourself addl piece of mind

And why so smug when you think someone else got ripped?
