Clutch Help

I have an 04 Ion-2 that i had to put the third clutch slave cylinder in in the last three years. Well looks like the original clutch line doesn't fit anymore, the hole in the new slave gets smaller the further in the line gets pushed hence not letting it seat in. They told me it was redesigned in the last 7 months. What can i do to correct this? i read about a cobalt slave and line or maybe just a line? any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Chevy cobalt/hhr pontiac g5 Saturn vue salve cylinder.
They have a bleeder fitting between the slave cylinder and the clutch line. Youd either have to buy a clutch line for said car, or go to the junk yard and hope to find a 5 speed to grab that fitting from.
Over the top performance sells a stainless braided clutch line for the Ion redline, has the correct fittings for the new slave/bleeder while retaining stock clutch master.

Also, tell you mechanic to check the clutch master cylinder. They are crap and known failure points for the Ion clutch system.

Ive done it on a few cars. Had one gut tell me the vues pressure plate was slightly thicker, but cant confirm. I think at that point it goes by brand because they all interchange according to part numbers
