No Variable Valve Timing for better low end torque. However, the 2.4 and my tranny are a perfect match. Less revving and shifting. It won't win the quarter mile but it feels like a V-6.
If its an 06/07, get a full exhaust on, slap an m62 blower with it. Tune it for 6-7psi, and have some fun |
A 2008 Block. Would a new ECM allow VVT? Am I getting greedy?

Not sure if the harness would be the same being yours was already tampered with. <br /> I rather have a better feel of the low end torque though. Well, then again, was your harness changed or rewired? |

You can get an 08 pcm for cheap. I guess it would be worth picking up to see if it would line up. You would have to do a pcm relearn then. Or if it doesn't work, could just resell it then.
