I am trying to find out where to buy the windshield wiper linkage bushings because I dont want to pay 100 plus to replace the whole linkage assembly just for the bushings
but every where I look no one has the bushings for a ion

Youre not going to find them new. Best bet is to fork up the cash for a new one, or check the junk yard.
Old school way you could soak em in a little bit of diesal.
I saw Dorman makes a few different sizes of just the bushings in their help line. Might be a bigger one you could carve the center on.
If you buy one new, I am not sure I would lean towards ACDelco, not because of the supposed quality, but because after it was manufactured, it was sealed in a cheesy plastic bag for storage and left on a shelf. This does not make it impervious to air and drying out of the rubber over the last 10 years I truly doubt they've made that part in the last decade meaning the OEM part.
I cannot find AC Delco lower control arms for my late 90s s cars brand new that the bushings have already started to harden to the point that they only last 4 years instead of 9. But what are you going to do?
Being true aftermarket, I don't know when and how often dorman manufacturers and packages such parts for extinct vehicles. Maybe someone else can chime in on that
