Default 2003 Ion Exhaust Flange

The flex pipe needs to be replaced and I wanted to know if the flange bolts can be cut off and knocked out and replaced or are they threaded in ?
Thanks !

Well.... I guess I came to the wrong forum with such a insulting reply.
I asked a simple question and that is a reply I get from a
"Super Moderator". My aplogies for wasting your precious time.

I've never worked on an Ion, so I can't help you. So many things change throughout the years, it's hard to keep up.

It's the simple answer from a super moderator. I own a 2007 ION sedan with a 2.4L. sw that answered owns a 2007 ION cpe with a 2.4L. I'm sure if either of us needed to know how our flange was assembled we would go out get under the car, and look. I don't see where that would confuse or upset you.

Consider this. There are very few people that use Saturn forums any more. There are even fewer that happen to have an ION let alone a 2003. Because I have an ION does not mean my 2007 2.4L exhaust system is the same as what's on your car. So Postman, what is your best move? In my book it's to get under your car and look.

Postman is one of those people that has a question and is not happy with the answer. He has a question and because this is a Saturn site everyone should know everything about all SATURN'S and his most of all. My feeling is, he has the SATURN in question why doesn't he have the answer. Especially since all he has to do is look at it.

His "apologies" not worth a postage stamp.

Did you notice this gentleman didn't take the time to go to the new member area to introduce himself before requesting answers?

Unfortunately, I think that the generation of today is gonna become generation "me first" and the boundaries dictated by politeness instilled by our parents is going the way of the Dodo bird --> extinct
