2003 ion broken clutch pedal ?!?!
 

Just bought a 2003 Saturn Ion 2.2litre with a 5 speed and the clutch master cylinder rod has broken threw the plastic clutch pedal...I need the new pedal assembly with the bracket...my question is does anybody know what the part number is for sure I believe it's going to be part number GM#15274047...

Any body know where I can purchase this part other then the dealer because they want $295 for the new plastic pedal...is it just me or does that seem rediculous for some plastic ? I can't seem to find it anywhere else other then the dealer, dealer part only ??

I think ZZPerformance sells the ion clutch pedal; shop under the "ecotec" category, as they also serve markets for Cruze/Sonic, Cadillc ATS, and the old 3.8 V6

Yeah I saw the one on zzp was just skeptical about it fitting a 2003, in one of the reviews on that clutch pedal on their page , soneobe said the had to heavily modify it to get it to fit ?

Bones do you have a dealer pedal or a zzp in your 04 IRL?
And would the RL be the same? Too lazy to look it up

The pedal in the redline *should* be the same as the regular Ion, but I don't know if it's 100% the same between the coupe and the sedan...

I've got the original pedal, which should in theory be replaced, I kinda made a ghetto fab solution to the issue I was having with my pedal
