LF tire sensor reading not showing up
 
Hello everyone,I have saturn aura 2009 and having a issue of LF tire sensor not showing any readings on my dashboard the space is just blank how ever PSI showing the tire pressure to the relevant tires.iam wondering is it battery issue or something else?pls enlighten me in that regard,thxx.

Probably just a 10 year old sensor, maybe time for new sensors. Check with your tire professional.

When scanned by scan tool with enhanced support for GM, subsystems (ABS, SRS, TPMS, etc.),t iwill yield a code that should identify the sensor that is bad ot not communicating. The sensors communicate wirelessly to the TPMS module. I've always assumed that the pressure sensors must have a small battery embedded in the stem. Could be as simple as the battery going dead but that means replacing it in its entirety. Or I am wrong

That is how they work, we have them replaced quite often at work. On our F-150 work trucks the sensors fail before 10 years. My Navigator is 13 years old and still has the original sensors.
