A/C Compressor Relay

A/C Compressor Relay
Anyone ever experience this:
I have a 2007 Aura 3.5L. My ac compressor is not engaged. I touch the ac compressor relay in the fuse box and it feels loose. I put some pressure on it with my finger and the compressor clicks on and blows cold. I have tried several different relays. Same thing with all. It seems like there is something wrong with the fuse block, but how can that be? Should I try to replace the fuse block with one from the U-Pull salvage yard?

It's possible that the receiving slots in the socket have lost their springiness, built up a layer of corrosion, or the wire connections on the underside of that socket are no longer making good electrical connections.
One or more of the slots themselves may have come dislodged from its proper position.
WITH THE ENGINE OFF
Take the relay and insert and remove it about 30 times. If there is any minor corrosion in the socket, this should sweep it off. Insert relay start vehicle and check.
If the relay becomes looser and looser as you try the above, stop and see if one of the receiving slots is getting pushed down.
If you pull the fuse box, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY and be sure you take pictures along the way in case any of the wiring connections come loose.

I agree with derf 100%. If it were mine, there's something else I'd do if the connections have just lost their "springiness", but I won't post it yet. I'll probably get flamed for it because it may be a fire hazard.
