Own a 96 Saturn, SC1.... lost power steering, checked under the hood and noticed the belt was off. Attempted to put back on and noticed the tensioner pulley as loose. Appears one bolt is off (top mounting bolt) and need to replace it. Drove (my other car) to the parts store where they told me they need to "look at the bolt to see what exact size it is". I''ve replaced these before and they''re a bit of a bugger! Aside from that, it is snowing/raining out... and don''t want to pull the wheel off, etc... to get to the pulley and take it off (by the one remaining bolt that''s holding it on) just to take the bolt back to the parts store to "match up". Just need to know the size and thread....

Thanks for taking the time to read this! Hope someone, somewhere can answer this for me...

Has the tensioner ever been replaced? Because those bolts dont just come off.

Let us hope that a ''bolt-snatcher'' was at work, and needed it elsewhere. I have seen those bolts when they break, and trying to drill and prepare them for an easy-out is no fun ...
