Default Oxygen Sensor

Since I am going to replace the radiator fan/shroud I need to replace the oxygen sensor right behind the shroud which I have been told is bad.
Is this considered the "upstream Sensor"? If not what is it called so I buy the right part?
This is a 1999 Saturn SC with an "8" VIN.
Thanks for the help!

Yes it is the upstream sensor.
Use an OEM Saturn replacement (made by Denso) or special order the Denso from your local auto parts store after confirming the Denso part number from a saturn parts dept
